Man Cited After Crashing Car into Schaub Electric Building
Keith A. Stanton Jr. crashed his Jeep into the building about 3:30 p.m. Thursday
A North Canton man was cited Thursday afternoon after he drove into the building.
say Keith A. Stanton Jr. was driving a 2006 Jeep Liberty eastbound in the left lane on Applegrove Street NW and crossed over the two westbound lanes, struck a curb, hit a traffic sign and continued about 50 feet before hitting the building.
North Canton Fire Department responded to the crash, which occurred about 3:30 p.m.

Stanton was not injured.
During the investigation officers found drug paraphernalia and a harmful intoxicant, according to a news release from the department. Alcohol use is suspected in the investigation and pending analysis from the Stark County Crime Lab.

Stanton was released and issued a summons to appear at Canton Municipal Court.
