Kids set fire to trees
A man told he saw two kids running away from a fire near the catch basin in the 500 block of Wise Avenue SE about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday. Police put out the fire with a fire extinguisher and had North Canton firefighters come out to ensure the fire would not reignite.

Someone forced open the kitchen window of a home in the 700 block of Lucille Avenue SW between 8:30 a.m. Monday and 4 p.m. Wednesday. There was no evidence the person went inside the home.
Wallet stolen from car at Nail Star

A wallet with a driver's license and credit cards inside was stolen from a car parked at Nail Star, 1116 N. Main St. between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. May 23.
Intruder scared away by barking dog
A man in the 900 block of Portage Street NW told police someone had gotten into his car about 4:40 a.m. Sunday and then opened the garage door before being scared away by a barking dog.
Cell phone stolen from car on Meadow Lane Drive
An $80 cell phone was stolen from a car in the 1600 block of Meadow Lane Drive SE between 7 p.m. May 20 and 10:45 a.m. May 21.
Vandalism at ServUs Center
Someone used a black permanent marker to write on the walls of ServUs Center, 1300 S. Main St., between noon May 10 and 3:20 p.m. May 14.
