Juvenile Drug Trafficking, Car Break-Ins: Police Blotter

Smashed car window, stolen items

Someone smashed the window of a car parked in the 100 block of Applegrove Street NE between 11 p.m. Sunday and 7:17 a.m. Monday. The person climbed inside and took a Dell laptop, a passport and other items totaling $575.

Juvenile arrested on trafficking charges

Police arrested a 17-year-old boy for trafficking in marijuana, a fifth-degree felony. The arrest took place about 6 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 1500 block of Ambler Avenue SW. Police found 13 baggies of drugs on the boy.

Sporting equipment stolen from car

Someone broke into a car in the 1500 block of Patriots Point SE between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 31 and 6:53 p.m. Sept. 2. The person stole golf clubs, a golf bag and other sports equipment totaling $1,960.
