Judge Issues Warrant After Streaker Misses Court Appearance

Police say Christopher S. McCormick, 26, of North Canton, crashed into a federal building before taking his clothes off and running around. He failed to appear for his arraignment hearing in Stark County court Monday.

A Stark County judge has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Christopher McCormick, the man who police say ran around naked after crashing into a federal building May 5.

McCormick, 26, of North Canton, didn't show up to his arraignment hearing Tuesday, after , according to court documents. McCormick was being treated at Heartland Behavior Healthcare since his arrest.

McCormick had driven a Dodge Stratus into the southwest corner of the Ralph Regula Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse at 301 McKinley Ave. SW about 3 a.m. May 5, according to NewsNet5.com. After crashing into the building, McCormick took off his clothes and ran around naked, the news station reported.
