Impaired 21-Year-Old Found Sleeping Behind the Wheel: Police Blotter

A 21-year-old Massillon woman was arrested after police found her sleeping behind the wheel of her car in the 400 block of Whittier Avenue about 1 a.m. Dec. 31. What's more — she was "impaired," and the car was running, according to the police report.
Police arrested her for physical control of a vehicle, a first-degree misdemeanor, and three first-degree misdemeanor counts of possession of drugs (they found pills in her car that weren't prescribed to her, by the way).

Teen caught with marijuana at Hoover High
Police arrested a 16-year-old student Dec. 16 after they found marijuana, a marijuana pipe and rolling papers in a car parked at the school (525 7th St. NE). She was arrested for delinquency by drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
Listed on the police report was a 16-year-old boy but he was not arrested.
