Man believes a hitman was hired to kill him

talked with a man in the 600 block of Summit Street SE because the man believed someone was talking about "taking a hit out on him," according to the police report. Police classified the report as conspiracy to commit murder, a first-degree felony.

Rocks thrown at storage shed

Someone threw several rocks through the window of a storage shed in the 500 block of North Main Street between 4 p.m. Aug. 11 and 5 p.m. Aug. 12. Estimated damage is $150.

Car damaged on South Main Street

A car in the 1600 block of South Main Street was damaged between 9 p.m. Aug. 3 and 2 p.m. Aug. 4. The police report didn't indicate estimated damages.
