Firefighters Show off Jaws of Life for Fire Prevention Week: Pic of the Day

The North Canton Fire Department will host its second open house of the week from 6:30-8:30 p.m. tonight

The North Canton Fire Department plans one final open house tonight to shine some light on Fire Prevention Week.

The theme of this year's open house — held 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. — is "Have two ways out."

And once again, the department will have an area where children can dress up like a firefighter and shoot water from a fire hose.

Firefighters also will be on hand to demonstrate how their firefighting equipment works, to educate people on fire prevention and answer car seat questions.

North Canton Patch sends a big thanks to Patch viewer Len Cooper, who snapped this Instagram photo at the first open house this week and uploaded it to our Pics & Clips gallery.
