East Canton Man Jailed for Carrying 239 Pills, Marijuana

North Canton police arrested Jonathan E. Miller at Heiser's Way SW and Whipple Avenue NW after a routine traffic stop

arrested Jonathan E. Miller, 29, of East Canton, for reportedly having marijuana and 239 pills on him.

Miller was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for an expired license plate. The driver was cited for that, while Miller was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, and possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor.

Police described the find as "a large amount of drugs," according to the police report. That includes marijuana, 82 peach-colored pills, 41 green pills, 115 white pills and a pill stamper. The police report didn't indicate what kind of drugs the pills were.

The arrest took place at 6:16 p.m. Sept. 28 at the intersection of Heiser's Way SW and Whipple Avenue NW.
