Deer Lets Itself Into North Canton Home: Police Blotter

What a way to end the work week — with a deer coming through your window and into your house

A deer crashed through the window of a home in the 1500 block of Northfield Avenue SE Friday morning.

Someone called North Canton police after seeing the deer go through the window and said no one ran out of the house, so the residents likely weren’t home, according to a call for service entry.

Police got in touch with the homeowner and helped the deer out of the house. Dispatchers said this morning the deer wasn’t injured and left the homeowner's property.

Police did not take an official report.
