Car Break-Ins, Stolen Jewelry at the YMCA: Police Blotter

String of vehicle vandalism
Someone damaged four cars, causing $20,000 in damages, in the 300 block of Mississippi Street SE between 1:10 p.m. and 2:10 p.m. Aug. 4.

A resident in the 300 block of Lindy Lane Avenue told police a person pried off a dead bolt on the back door of her home and stole copper pipe valued at $1,500. The theft took place between midnight Aug. 8 and 11:59 p.m. Aug. 10.
$2,650 in jewelry stolen

Someone stole $2,650 in jewelry from a home in the 900 block of Dogwood Avenue between midnight June 28 and 11:59 p.m. July 4.
Rings stolen from locker at YMCA
A woman told police someone stole two rings from her unlocked locker at the North Canton YMCA between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Aug. 13. Estimated loss is $3,250.
Missing iPhone
An iPhone valued at $800 was stolen from a car in the 1400 block of Chadford Gate SE between 5 p.m. Aug. 16 and 1:15 a.m. Aug. 17. Estimated loss is $800.
Stolen catalytic converters
Someone removed nine catalytic converters and nine exhaust systems from cars in the back parking lot of Bush's Auto, 1401 Portage St. NW, between 6 p.m. Aug. 15 and 8:51 a.m. Aug. 16. Estimated loss is $5,400.
