A man walked out of with four cartons of cigarettes worth $231 about 12:46 p.m. Jan. 7.

Someone threw a rock through the door of the BP gas station at 6363 Market Ave. N. between 10 p.m. Jan. 7 and 2:10 a.m. Jan. 8. The person broke into the store and took some merchandise, but the report didn't indicate what was taken or what the value of the items was.

Hygiene products go missing

Someone stole a brown box full of hygiene products from a porch in the 500 block of Wise Avenue between 10:04 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 5. The items were valued at $130.

$2,700 in items stolen from shed on Cordelia Street

Several items were stolen from a shed in the 200 block of Cordelia Street SW between 6 p.m. Jan. 2 and 6:30 a.m. Jan. 3. Someone cut the lock on the shed and stole a red Honda generator, an industrial-size leaf blower, a snow blower and two gas cans. Total loss is $2,700.

Someone attempted to steal car on Pittsburg Avenue

A resident in the 1400 block of Pittsburg Avenue believes someone tried to steal a car parked there. The victim discovered the car's ignition system was damaged. Estimated damage is $500.
