The following was supplied by the North Canton Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Booze mystery

As Acme Fresh Market employees were checking the store's liquor inventory on June 19, they found 11 bottles of vodka, valued at $450, had gone missing.

Acme security handed over a DVD of video surveillance to police, but the security cameras didn't catch any of the thieves in the act.

It's not clear if this booze mystery will ever be solved.

Alcohol-induced crash

A 68-year-old North Canton man was charged with drunken driving, a first-degree misdemeanor, after he crashed his car into a utility pole on June 17.

The accident took place in the 800 block of 7th Street NE.
