North Canton Patch: A Year in Photos

What makes a good photo? Sometimes it's the story behind the photo. Sometimes it's capturing someone at just the right moment. In this 2011 photo roundup, Patch contributor Rob Netro explains his favorites and tells us what makes a great photo.

I've tried to include pictures from many of the different events that I attended as a contributor to the North Canton Patch throughout the year. Some are technically good; others are just great expressions or smiles. I tried to explain the how and why in each caption along with the origional caption.

Rob, you did a great job selecting these! You're right, though, I think little Lucie Bossart may be my favorite. Oh, and Buddy Archer at the Main Street Festival. And Luke Grandjean snatching the football player in mid-air. *Sigh* They're all good.
