NORTH CANTON CITY SCHOOLS EARLY CHILDHOOD SCREENING PROGRAM

The North Canton City School District will offer early childhood screenings for 3 or 4 year old children who are residents of the North Canton City School District and are suspected of having a handicapping condition.  These screenings are available for parents who have been told their child's development is not typical for his/her age in the areas such as vision, hearing, speech & language development, motor skills, cognitive development, and social functioning.  Special preschool services are available for children who qualify.  This screening is NOT to determine Kindergarten readiness.
The screening will be held at the Mary L. Evans Early Childhood Center, 301 Portage Street NW, North Canton, Ohio, on Friday, March 14, 2014.
Children will be accepted on a pre-registered basis only.  Flyers are available at all North Canton City School buildings; the North Canton Public Library; and area preschools and pediatric doctors' offices. For more information, please call the Early Childhood Center office at 330-497-5608.
