Moms Talk: Holiday Shopping Secrets

You've been through a few Christmases in your time (don't worry, we won't ask how many), and we're sure you've learned a shopping trick or two you could share with our viewers

Today we're asking you to spill the beans.

Tell us your holiday shopping secrets, and we'll tell you ours. We want to know everything — that means how you find the perfect gift (How do some people always manage to find what you want? Do they keep a running list of ideas throughout the year, or what?).

How about how you find the best deals? (What's the secret there — coupon clipping, Black Friday, scouring online sales or in-store clearance racks?)

Here's a little tip from your local editor at North Canton Patch: Try out Etsy.com and see what you find. Anything that's handmade (even if it's not made by your hand, per se), is pretty darn cool. Plus the site has an option to find gifts for your friends using your Facebook account.

Now, what's your secret?

Love the Etsy as well! And can confidently say that I'm addicted to two other sites. www.slickdeals.net and www.pinterest.com, both are highly influential in my holiday shopping.

Great! Thanks for your comment, Christina! I love Etsy, too. There are so many unique, handmade items. If I can't find what I'm looking for anywhere, I just make it on either cafepress.com or zazzle.com. Those sites are addicting!

I love the internet. I research, read reviews, and check prices at different stores before either heading out to make a purchase-or if the shipping is free I'll order it and let them send to me.
