Autumn ushers in football, colorful leaves, pumpkins and crisp air. The change of season also brings along the need for us to purchase warmer clothing items for our children, which can get very expensive. Just like the year before, the sweaters in our kids’ drawers and jackets in their closets don’t fit anymore. Here are a few great opportunities to outfit youngsters for fall and winter on a tight budget.

Deal: Easily sell your child’s nice quality items he or she outgrew at this sale by visiting the website and following a couple of quick steps. In the past, I have found Gymboree sweaters and dresses with the tags still on them for $5 to $10 and barely worn Stride Rite shoes for $8. The sale is being held at Elite Sports, 11035 Cleveland Ave. NW, Uniontown.
