Frugal Family: Fill the Fridge and Pantry for Pennies

We found some grocery deals around North Canton too good to pass up this week

Deal: Get the kids to eat a variety of fruits and veggies this week. Stock up at Giant Eagle with your Advantage Card. They have mangoes on sale, 10 for $10. And blueberries are buy one pint, get one free. You also can purchase five ears of sweet corn for $2 and fresh green beans for a $1.79 a pound.

Good through: Wednesday

Deal: Get ready for your Memorial Day picnic in advance by shopping at Acme this week. Select 7Up products are $10 for 10 2-liter bottles with your Acme Card. You also can get 10 2-liter bottles of Coke products. You can also buy five 20-ounce bottles of Food Club ketchup or mustard for $5 with your card. Purchasing 10 2-liters and five ketchups or mustards will save you a combined $14.

Good through: Friday

Deal: Hurry in to Fishers today or tomorrow to get a free 16-ounce superior cottage cheese when you purchase a gallon of Fisher’s white milk.

Good through: Tuesday

4.

Deal: Today and tomorrow, Drug Mart will offer Doritos, Fritos and Cheetos $5 for two bags. You save $2.98 when you buy two bags. This also is a good sale to take advantage of if you're hosting a summer picnic.

Good through: Tuesday

5.

Deal: Select boxes of Post and Quaker cereals are just $1.75 a box. There is a limit of four boxes per visit, though.

Good through: Saturday
