Spirit of Giving Day

Donate from the convenience of you car

Join in giving spirit for the holidays Dec. 2 with the most convenient way to donate to fight hunger with the Stark County Hunger Task Force.

Spirit of Giving Day from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Downtown Ford and Lincoln lets donors give without even getting out of their cars.

Drive through and drop off non-perishable food items or donations for the Hunger Task Force during the event in the dealership at 1423 Tuscarawas St. W. in Canton.

The need continues to grow especially during the holiday season.  Alarmingly, Stark County's child food insecurity rate at 27.9 percent and overall food insecurity rate at 17.3 percent are both higher than the national and state averages.

Every dollar donated provides seven pounds of food for the hungry of Stark County, and food items go directly to our network of more than two-and-a-half dozen pantries.
