The Canton Chapter of the Foundation for Community Betterment is hosting a planning meeting on Tuesday, March 13 at 7:00 pm at the Barrel Room in North Canton. This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about The Foundation for Community Betterment, what our organization does, who we are helping, and the overall planning of our largest fundraiser of the year, Rocktoberfest!
New members are ALWAYS welcome. This month's meeting topics will include the Winter Olympics (social event) taking place on March 22 at Fiddlestix, recipient nomination forms, and the planning of Rocktoberfest.
To better help us plan for Rocktoberfest we are starting a new "Donation of the Month" program that will take place at each of our montly meetings. This month we are helping to fill our "Basket of Cheer!" Bring along an extra unopened bottle of wine or alcohol that you have sitting on the shelf at home, stemware you received as a gift and don't use, gift certificates to your favorite place for drinks, the duplicate opener your mother in law keeps giving you every Christmas, even posh paper plates and napkins that you can serve appetizers on.
