“OWN IT” THEME OF WOMEN’S IMPACT INC 2014 KICKOFF EVENT

Schindler contends that women of today are very different than that of

our mother’s era. Rather than being women of different decades representing the

female experience, we are of the same time period, yet with wildly different life

circumstances: single, married, partnered, children, no children,

step-children, divorced, stay-at-home- entrepreneurial and corporate. While the

spectrum is opened wide to experience, it remains difficult to access at times.

Her discussion focuses on how women “own” their lives by embracing their

choices and creating opportunities and change for themselves.

As EVP of Davis Brand Capital, Schindler oversees the consulting work

of the firm, specializing in media and technology. With more than 25 years of

experience in national television and emerging platforms, her main area of

focus is where brands and media intersect. She is Phi Beta Kappa from the

University of Notre Dame, has been featured at the Harvard Business School’s

Dynamic Women in Business conference and currently serves on the Board of the

New York City Center. An accomplished media professional, she has earned

several Emmy and Gracie awards.
