Brown Mackie College — North Canton will open its doors to the surrounding community for an open house event on Saturday, March 22, from 10am – 2pm. The event will take place at the school, located at 4300 Munson St NW, Canton, Ohio 44718, and will feature information and workshops about the school’s programs in Nursing, Healthcare and Wellness, Business and Technology, Legal Studies and Veterinary Technology.
Prospective students attending the open house will have the opportunity to tour the school and meet with various faculty and staff to learn about admissions, financial aid (available to those who qualify), career services, and details about programs offered. Prospective students will discover the new tools of education and learn more about Brown Mackie College’s partnership with Apple Inc. to offer iPad and eTextbooks to every incoming student. The college has converted to 100 percent electronic textbooks (eTextbooks) and the iPad is the vehicle for delivering that technology and more for students.
The Brown Mackie College system of schools is dedicated to providing educational programs that prepare students for entry-level positions in a competitive, rapidly changing workplace. The Brown Mackie College schools established a unique ONE COURSE A MONTH© scheduling format that allows students to focus on one subject for one month, then move on to the next. Courses are offered during days and evenings.
