Week in Review: Vintage Cars, Staff Restructuring and More

Here are the top five stories this week, in case you missed it.

1. Sparks flew at Monday night's city council meeting when Mayor David Held and resident Chuck Osborne debated the hiring of Bill Bartos, the new director of administrative services. Bartos will act as a link to the offices of economic development and permits and inspections and will work to help bolster business within the city.

2. Also at Monday's council meeting, members approved putting two replacement levies on the March ballot. The levies for the fire and EMS departments will help them operate on their own, rather than borrow from the general fund.

3. We told you about the at Bitzer Park happening on Sunday. We just wanted to remind you again that it's happening, and that you don't want to miss out on the ice sculptures!
