1. . District treasurer Todd Tolson said officials aren't sure just yet which services and programs might be affected by state cuts, but levy dollars — coming in from the 4.5-mill levy passed in November — will come in handy for filling gaps.

The boy had been wandering alone about 75 to 100 yards from his home when a motorist spotted him and called police about 3:30 a.m. The father woke up later to discover his son wasn’t in the house. After calling 911 and reporting his son missing, police were able to bring the two back together.
