We call it Local Voices, and it's a forum for local bloggers (and would-be bloggers) to give their opinions on music, local politics and whatever else tickles their fancy.

Now, we don't want you to misunderstand us. North Canton Patch will continue to feature North Canton news, but we also wanted to give local writers a chance to express their opinions.

In addition to featuring our own bloggers, we'll also occasionally show links to other local bloggers who deserve your attention. There's a lot of great stuff out there and sometimes it's difficult to find it all, so this our way of helping.

Local Voices launched today with two great blogs from people in the community:

  • , assistant director for academic advising at , and running enthusiast. Find her first blog here.
  • , a young music lover who lives in North Canton and has ideas on other things, too, like politics and humor. Find his first blog here.
