Wanted: North Canton's Greatest Person

We're looking for North Canton residents who are making a difference in their communities and beyond

At Patch, we like to support positive role models in the community. We want to find those North Canton residents who are doing great things in the community and shine a light on their good deeds.

You know, those ordinary and extraordinary people whose acts of courage, determination, volunteerism and compassion have made a difference in the community and beyond.

It's part of a Patch-wide project called the "Greatest Person of the Day," which is being done in cooperation with our sister publication, the Huffington Post. ( made it onto the Huffington Post this past January for her work with dyslexic children.)

So, think ordinary people doing extraordinary things for friends, families, groups and others — they're everywhere, in faith communities, nonprofit groups, schools, senior centers, firehouses and elsewhere.

There are no age restrictions. We want diversity of age, race and gender. Most importantly, we ask you, our valued reader, to help us find these outstanding citizens by nominating them.
