On October 25, North Canton was privileged to have an extraordinary event that showcased an exciting and unique program called the ICF — Intelligent Community Forum.

Walsh University hosted the Inaugural Symposium for its newly created Institute for the Study of the Intelligent Community. The list of speakers was incredible and the information discussed was innovative, thought provoking and stimulating.

I was truly energized as well as the rest of the attendees.

My sincere thanks to [Walsh University President] Mr. Jusseaume and his team for bringing such a unique and awe-inspiring event to our area. It was first-class.

Truly Walsh University is a incredible asset to North Canton. We deeply appreciate the university and am blessed to have them in our community. I look forward to your second year with the symposium.

Keep up the great work you do with our students and taking a leadership role to promote progress through "out of the box" thinking.

Editor's note: Strohmenger's letter to the editor kicks off a series of Q&As by North Canton community members involved in the ICF. Watch Wednesday for the first Q&A with Doug Lane, president of the North Canton Area Chamber of Commerce.
