North Canton Public Library Wants to Send You on a 'Blind Date with a Book'

Grab a wrapped book from the library. You won't know what's inside, and that's part of the fun!

Who doesn't love surprises — especially when it comes to Valentine's Day?

The North Canton Public Library wants to give you a little surprise in light of the holiday with its new promotion, "Blind Date with a Book," which kicked off Wednesday and runs through Valentine's Day.

The books, located on the first floor of the library, are hidden within Valentine's Day wrappings, and patrons only get one small clue at knowing what's inside.

"All have a label on them that gives you an idea of what you’re getting," said Christina Weyrick-Cooper, the library's community relations manager.

Once patrons read the books, they'll fill out a short survey (see what we mean in the .pdf section of the update).

"We’re interested in how the blind date went," added Weyrick-Cooper.
