Hoover High Drug Searches, an Officer Honored & More: Week in Review

1. We've been hearing a lot of great discussion from our viewers after running a story about Hoover High following up a January drug sweep with a drug search of students' cars in the spring. Join the discussion and tell us what you think.

2. Some more school news: Two school board members told District Superintendent Michael Gallina it's almost as if the agenda items are approved before they even reach the board for review. They used Jeff Breit's move from associate principal at Hoover High to principal of Greentown Elementary.

3. We posted a short video this week of Officer John Hemric being honored at a North Canton City Council meeting. Anyone out there know Hemric? Feel free to offer some congrats!

4. North Canton City Schools Superintendent Michael Gallina also offered this update about the Unified Elementary Design this week.

5. Lt. Scott Denniss was arrested this week after he shot a gun off duty Jan. 29. According to a police report, Lt. Scott Denniss, 46, had been distraught and fired a 9 mm handgun into the ground outside his home in the 200 block of Weber Avenue.
