There's so much going on in the area as far as fall and Halloween events go, we decided to make it easy on you and put all the info you need in one easy-to-manage update

Where: Fawcett Stadium, 1815 Harrison Ave. NW, Canton
When: 6 p.m. Saturday
At a glance: This may be one of the last chances of the season to see fireworks. You need more reasons? How about supporting the Cavaliers at a really awesome stadium like the Fawcett Stadium? It's all part of the university's Fall Family Fun Festival. Find prices .

 

Where: 
When: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday
At a glance: Three meals, an antique book auction and Zion United Church of Christ members dressed up in 1800s attire. Can you really miss that? Publicity chair Sarah Netro tells you more in .

 

 

Where: Boettler Park, 5300 Massillon Road in Green
When: noon-4 p.m. Sunday
At a glance: It's a free event with daylight trick-or-treat, carnival-style games, pumpkin painting and lots more. Get caught up with Idea House, which is hosting the event, and learn more about "Taking the Scary Out of Halloween" by reading .

 

Where: 
When: 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20
At a glance: The Graveyard Rockers (the ones who rock out every weekend at Cedar Point's HalloWeekends) are bringing their best monster hits to the library next week. Fun for adults; fun for kids. And don't forget to look for North Canton Patch's story about the Graveyard Rockers Friday!

When: 11:30 Oct. 21
At a glance: Bring a dish to share and a bag of candy or a “treat” to pass out in the trick-or-treat circle.

 

Where: 
When: The show runs Oct. 21, 22, 23 (Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 pm) and Oct. 27, 28, 29, 30 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday 8 p.m. and Sunday 2:30 p.m.)
At a glance: This is The Turkey Who Knew Too Much and The Night They Stole Halloween, a two-in-one holiday show that's sure to keep the whole family cracking up all night.

 

Where: 
When: 1 p.m. Oct. 22
At a glance: No need to wonder if this Halloween party is appropriate for your first- or second-grader because it's tailored to the young'uns.

 

 

Where:
When: 6 p.m. Oct. 26
At a glance: Children and their parents/guardians are invited to meet at 6 p.m. in the Cecchini Center for games and activities before trick-or-treating begins. At 7 p.m., all guests will line up for trick or treating through Walsh’s residence halls. Walsh students will distribute candy to the children as they travel door-to-door through the dorms.

 

Where: 
When: 5:30 p.m. Oct. 27
At a glance: Boo U is a family-friendly event for elementary-aged children including trick-or-treat, a pond walk, enchanted stories at the fireplace lounge, games and much more. The event takes place both indoors and outdoors. So wear your costume (and bundle-up) and have some fun on the Kent Stark campus!

 

 

Heather Ridge Family Halloween Party

Where:  activity center
When: 6 p.m. Oct. 28
At a glance: Come in your favorite costume for trick-or-treating through six houses. Then, inside the activity center, you'll find some spooky treats and lots more fun.

 

Where: 
When: 1 p.m. Oct. 29
At a glance: Stark State College will host the third annual kids' Halloween party on Oct. 29 in the Student Center. Children ages 13 and under can enjoy games, prizes and a costume contest. Hot dog, chips and a drink will be available for $2.50.

 

North Canton Trick-or-Treat

Where: The city of North Canton
When: From 3 p.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 30
At a glance: You know the routine: Get the kids decked out in their Halloween gear and take to the streets for a couple hours of candy collecting.
