Doesn't Look Much Like Spring, But Patch Readers Make The Best of The Snow

Patch readers are finding some fun in the inches of snow the area got over the weekend — made evident in our Pics & Clips gallery today

Just days into spring, North Canton area got walloped with a couple inches of snow.

But did that stop North Canton Patch readers from enjoying themselves?

Nope.

We can tell from these first two photos that were uploaded in the North Canton Patch Pics & Clips gallery Monday, as a few inches appeared on the ground.

And we even got a few sent to us via email by Erin Ryan of North Canton. Check out what her 2-year-old daughter Colleen created during her snow day (it's an Easter bunny!).

"Our daughter and little artist, Colleen, had a blast helping roll and pat the snow, was excited to dig in the flower bed through the snow to find her rocks from her summer rock collection for its eyes and nose, and pulling grass for the bunny's whiskers," she wrote in. "She loves to paint pictures and what better way to paint today!"

Ryan said they mixed food coloring and water for the paint and put it in a muffin tin and painted with three paint brushes.

"For her final picture she had to take her gloves off because they were soaked from all her hard work!" Ryan wrote. "She woke from her nap and it had fallen over and half melted, so we said it's napping and we're headed out to try and make another one quick!"
