Construction Slated to Begin on Mount Pleasant Bridge Starting Today
The bridge closure may cause some difficulties for those heading east and west on Mount Pleasant Road near Diebold
The small bridge on Mount Pleasant Road between Lauby Road and Pittsburg Avenue near Diebold is scheduled to close today for repair.
The bridge will be out for 60 days, cutting off access to I-77 North from North Canton. The Stark County Engineer's Office wants drivers to use the Shuffel Street entrance to I-77 as a detour, which can be accessed just south of Orion Road.
The traffic light at Orion and Shuffel Street now is up and running.
