Community Bands Together to Support Boy With Rare Cancer: Pic of the Day

The North Canton Jaycees and JAX young professionals hosted a guest bartending event at the Barrel Room to benefit Tucker Gromosiak, a 7-year-old Hudson boy with a rare form of muscular cancer

North Canton Jaycees and JAX young professionals raised at least $4,000 Tuesday night to help a 7-year-old Hudson boy with a rare form of cancer.

The two groups joined up to host a guest bartending night at the Barrel Room and support Tucker Gromosiak, who is battling Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma of the Prostate (Rhabdo for short).

The $4,000 does not include tips from that night, which all went to the cause.

Couldn't make it to the event but still want to help out? Visit any First Merit Bank to donate to the Tucker Gromosiak Benevolent Fund.

This was truly an incredible evening - especially w/ the generosity and support of so many people I did not even meet before that evening. Thanks a lot, Mike Gromosiak
