1. Plain Township fatal hit-and-run: A North Canton man is suspected of causing a fatal car crash in Plain Township. Sheriff's Office officials say Paul A. Newton, 48, of North Canton, struck the car driven by Sondra L. Oldfield, 71, of Canton, just after 9:30 p.m. Monday. Oldfield died early Tuesday morning. Find more information .
