Best of: Holiday Blogs

Need a little nudge getting in the holiday spirit? Our blogs (the best of the best) can help with that.

North Canton Patch bloggers have been keeping us in the Christmas spirit the past few weeks as they've written about giving to the less fortunate, remembering the reason for the season and activities you can do for free with your loved ones.

We've rounded up some of our favorite holiday blogs for you. Take a look and let us know what you think!

  •  — — We were so impressed that this blogger could share a video of himself and his family as dancing disco elves that we just had to include this one in the roundup. But seriously, read the blog, watch the video, have a laugh.
  •  — — This blogger reminds us that the holiday season isn't about shopping. Well, not totally about shopping. While it's nice to get gifts for the ones we love, that's not the real reason for the season.
  •  — — This second-grade teacher from Orchard Hill Elementary reminds us to be thankful. "This holiday season please reflect on the things that matter the most. Take an extra second to show a loved one that you care. Give your children an extra hug and kiss. Don't let life pass you up and you forget about who or what is most important," David writes.
  •  — — Chellsea was overwhelmed with her son's generosity when the time came to donate his toys to those less fortunate. But, what do you expect? He is the son of a community-minded philanthropist.
