5 Things You Should Know About North Canton This Week

1. A pet food drive through St. Pet’s Day kicks off this week throughout Stark, Portage and Summit counties. The , 300 N. Main St., joins about 80 other locations as a collection site. Expect a little more information on this program this week on North Canton Patch.

2. The North Canton City Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in City Hall. Look in the PDFs section of this story for tonight’s agenda.

3. Frank Kemp Jr. of the recently was promoted to sergeant, and we’ll take a little time this week to congratulate him and help you learn a little more about him.

4. We’ll start a new weekly feature on North Canton Patch this week. It’s a series of videos called “You Said It,” and it involves residents talking on camera about a topic specific to the Patch.
