From self defense classes to street closures and art exhibits, our 5-things list has what you need to know for a successful week

1. Our North Canton Area Chamber of Commerce will have yet this week for a new business. (They had just ) The ceremony for is from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday. 

2. Interested in the arts? Check out Gallery 6000 and 's Atmoscapes exhibit that runs through Oct. 21. An opening reception takes place from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Tuesday inside the University Center. RSVP to Becky DeHart at 330-244-3518 or rdehart@kent.edu.

Here's how they describe it: "Five Stark County artists present their intriguing, poetic visions of realities both natural and dreamlike." Participating artists are Lynn Digby, Carol McGill, David Grant Roth, Michele Waalkes and Michael Weiss.
