Your Ageless Mind, plus Book Groups, and a Poetry Contest at Stark County District Library

Your Ageless Mind, plus Book Groups, and a Poetry Contest at Stark County District Library

Did you know the Stark County District Library is More Than Books? Throughout March and April, Stark County District Library is holding its 14th Annual Poetry Contest (A Kaleidoscope of Poetry) for Grades 2 through Adults. Create an original poem and submit it online or in person by April 30, 2013 to be entered in the contest. Multiple winners will be chosen by a panel of community judges and, yes, there will be prizes. It’s a great contest for kids and adults alike, and it culminates with Youth Poetry Café and Poetry Open Mic Night in May.

As always, each program listed here is linked to the Stark County District Library Events calendar, where you'll get more information about the program (such as the time the event is offered), and have the opportunity to register online or by phone to attend.

It’s a great time to join one of Stark County District Library’s numerous book groups. Whether you’re a fan of a good thriller, the latest bestsellers, or you enjoy the classics, there’s a book group for you at a SCDL location. In the next 7 days, no less than 6 book groups will be meeting, including:
