Coupons and Savings, Summers Jobs, Cinco de Mayo, and Mother's Day: This Week at Stark County District Library

Coupons and Savings, Summers Jobs, Cinco de Mayo, and Mother's Day: This Week at Stark County District Library

May is on our doorstep and that means summer and nice weather (we hope) can't be far behind. Teens can get a jump on the summer job season at this week's Teen Job Hunter Workshop. Also this week at Stark County District Library: learn strategies for saving with coupons, punch up your resume at the Resume Clinic, and celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Mother's Day, and Free Comic Book Day.

As always, each program below is linked to the Stark County District Library Events calendar, where you'll get more information about the program (such as the time the event is offered), and have the opportunity to register online or by phone to attend.

It's the bicentennial of Charles Dickens' birth. What better way to celebrate one of history's greatest writers than to consider his novel Great Expectations alongside the PBS Masterpiece film of the same name? The PBS Masterpiece film stars a fantastic ensemble cast (Gillian Anderson, Ray Winstone, David Suchet, and many others). Masterpiece Book and Film Discussion meets on Monday, April 30 at Jackson Township Branch.
