Peanut Butter Recall Expanded
Products sold by Target, Trader Joe's and Heinen's are on the recall list due to possible salmonella contamination
The recall of peanut butter sold at Trader Joe's has expanded to include products sold under several different labels nationwide at stores, including the Archer Farms brands sold at Target and others sold by Heinen's.
This is a voluntary recall by manufacturer Sunland Inc., due to possible salmonella contamination. All the recalled products were made at the company's plant in Portales, N.M. So far, only the Trader Joe's Valencia peanut butter has been linked to salmonella.
Recalled products include Archer Farms Creamy Almond Butter, Archer Farms Creamy Peanut Butter with Flax Seeds, Heinen's Organic and All-Natural peanut butters (both creamy and chunky).
