LOOK: Cash Mob Takes Over Logan Sports to Say 'Thanks'

Logan Sports got a big "thank you" from the community Saturday as folks stopped by to spend a few bucks at the city's first-ever cash mob

Those walking into between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday had one thing in common.

Well, other than the need for some quality sports gear.

The shoppers were there supporting a local business as part of the city's first-ever cash mob. And most said they were eager to give back to a business that's given the community so much.

"They're so supportive of the community, so it's easy to want to support them," said Christi Nutt of North Canton. Nutt had also to determine which local business should be the site of the city's first cash mob.

North Canton resident Pat Davis also was happy to support a local business run by people she considers friends.

"I've known (owner) Andy Logan since he was in grade school, and I've been associated with the family for years," said Davis, who stopped by the cash mob with her daughter Cathi Spence.

The Eynon family of North Canton took part in the cash mob Saturday, too, buying some T-shirts and hats.

"We didn't have any Hoover gear; this is the first gear we've bought," said Tamie Eynon, who came with her husband Craig and daughter Carys, 4, and son Drew, 8.
