From Shabby to Chic at North Canton's One Vintage Lane

The new North Canton boutique puts a fresh, trendy look on old or outdated furniture and decor.

A new street just opened in North Canton, but you won’t find it on any map.

One Vintage Lane, which sells repurposed furniture and home accessories, has expanded from Hartville and opened a new location at 616 S. Main St.

The trendy boutique features repainted and upcycled chairs, lamps, desks, candle holders and other unique decor items that were probably gathering dust before owner Lori Compton got her transformative hands on them.

Compton says she gives her pieces a “French country look” or “rustic glam” appearance—which adds an earthy feel to an item with a bit of a sparkle.

One Vintage Lane is attached to BabyCakes Bake Shoppe, although the businesses are separate entities, said BabyCakes owner Natasha Gotto.

The boutique is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and is closed Sundays and Mondays, said Compton.
