Food Trucks Rolling to North Canton Barrel Room

Ladies and gentlemen, start your appetites. 

During every Thursday evening in June, the Barrel Room will invite a gourmet food truck to serve its customers.

On June 6, the Stone Pelican Rolling Cafe will roll up and treat patrons to green fried tomatoes stuffed with crab, fish tacos, meatballs on a stick, French silk pie and more, said Pelican co-owner and chef Jeff Neel. 

The items range from $5-$7, he said.

The truck will open in the Barrel Room's parking lot at about 5:30 p.m. and will close around 9 p.m.

"Business has been phenomenal," said Barrel Room owner Adam Todd. "We've been blessed with so many customers, but they're one request is for a food menu. Now we can bring in gourmet food without being a restaurant."

After June, Todd said he will evaluate whether to continue and possibly expand upon Thursday's food truck night, depending on customer demand. 

The Barrel Room Beer and Wine Bar is located at 7901 Cleveland Ave. NW.
