Chamber of Commerce Hosts Senior Showcase Thursday

The event features representatives from about 30 businesses and organizations who are ready to show how they can serve the senior community

Seniors will get the chance to check out 30 different businesses and organizations that they can use to their benefit at the annual North Canton Senior Showcase Thursday.

We're talking about places like the North Canton Public Library, American Medical Personnel, the Danbury, Koala Kruizers, North Canton fire and police departments and tons more.

North Canton Chamber President Doug Lane describes the event as being focused on the active senior population who have an eye on their future
years.

"We have a diverse group of over 30 businesses and organizations represented Thursday," Lane said. "People from the finance, insurance, health care, senior living and transportation industries will be there as well as the Y, Stark Parks and the North Canton Police and Fire Departments. Even Betty White (a white cat) will be on hand, available for adoption at the For Paws booth."
