Some News and Photos from the Art Classroom

Some news & photos from the art classroom!

Can you believe it? We are wrapping up another nine weeks at !

I just got back from Washington, D.C., with the eighth graders (expect some photos soon!) and now I'm gearing up to enjoy spring break and the start of the  boys tennis season!

First, I'd like to take a moment and thank everyone who stopped out to the Art from the Classroom Show at and took the time to sign the guestbook. It is your support that makes that experience a possibility for our students.

Also, I thought I'd share with you the most recent completed project by the eighth graders. They made large scale (approx. 24"x40") self-portraits inspired by artists such as photorealist Chuck Close and contemporary artist Andre Woolery. Take a look!
