Why Go: Ryan's going to be performing with a 60-piece band. Can you say "kind of a big deal?" It's his biggest Christmas show yet and a portion of proceeds benefit the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. Oh, and one last thing: Ryan composed a top-10 list as to why you should attend the third annual blowout on his Facebook fan page.

3. PLAY LIFE-SIZE CANDY LAND

Why Go: It's all about learning colors, getting candy prizes and having some fun with your kids Saturday at the main branch of the Stark County District Library. Plus Candy Land is a classic that you've probably never played as a life-size board game, huh?

4. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JUNIOR EDITION

Where/When: Firehouse Theatre, home of the Carnation City Players, 450 E. Market St., Alliance; 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (box office opens one hour before shows)
Why Go: Treat your little ones to a Disney classic, youth-style.
