This Weekend: Canton Film Festival, Fireworks & the Brighter Side Band

We've got a great mix of stuff for you to do this weekend. Maybe you're into music? Football and fireworks? How about films?

1. NORTH CANTON LION'S CLUB CRAFT & ARTS SHOW

Where/When: ; 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: There will be lots of handmade gifts (remember that thing called "Christmas?") and items for your home. We also want to give a big thanks to Marianne Eick of Generations Handwoven Rugs for telling us about the show on our Facebook page!

2.  THE ROUGH AND TUMBLE WITH ZEN AND JANE

Where/When: Muggswigz, 137 Walnut Ave. NE, Canton; 9 p.m.-11 p.m. Friday
Why Go: If you haven't had enough caffeine throughout the week, stop in to Muggswigz to fill up. At the same time, check out a couple new bands and chat with friends.

Why Go: This may be one of the last chances of the season to see fireworks. You need more reasons? How about supporting the Cavaliers at a really awesome stadium like the Fawcett Stadium? Sounds fun!
Pricing: Adults $7; students $3 (non-Walsh), under 12, 62 and older; free for Walsh Students, faculty and staff (with ID)

Where/When: Canton Palace Theatre, 605 Market Ave. N., Canton; Thursday, Friday and Saturday night (click here for show times)
Why Go: You've got the chance to see films of all types. We're talking green flicks, horror movies, music videos and more.
Pricing: Adult $5, student $3 (Buy tickets here)

Where/When: ; noon-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Why Go: You remember , right? This will be a great chance to stop in to see them! Not to mention, the plays as part of the celebration Sunday.
