This Weekend: 3 Stooges Film Fest, Black-Tie Affair, Canton First Friday

Feeling up for film festival this weekend? We've listed two, now take your pick! We've also got a barbershop quartet and Canton First Friday in the mix.

Where/When: Arts District in downtown Canton; 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Friday
Why Go: You're not going to find more music anywhere else around North Canton on this Friday night. Check out Canton First Friday's website for a complete list of acts. We can tell you one of our favorites, , will be at Evolution Art from 6:30-8 that night.

Why Go: Grab your leading man or supporting cast and enjoy an evening out Hollywood style! Screen nine short films for, by and about women selected from more than 800 at the Lunafest Film Festival. Benefits go to and the Breast Cancer Fund.

Why Go: Remember when we met up with the host, Charles Prunty III, and brought you this preview of the upcoming networking event? He's been hard at work promoting this event, so show this Walsh University student some support and stop out for a great time, drinks and good friends.
Pricing: Women pay no cover before 11 p.m., while men pay $10 to get in all night. 

4. THREE STOOGES FILM FESTIVAL

Where/When: Canton Palace Theatre, 605 Market Ave. N., Canton; 7:30 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: We found this event on the ArtsinStark Facebook page and knew it would be a hit for our readers. When's the last time you had the chance to see a Three Stooges film festival, really?

Where/When: Amish Door Village 1210 Winesburg St., Wilmot; 6:15 p.m.-9:15 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: Take a step back into a bygone era with the feisty and fun sounds of the Hall of Fame Barbershop Chorus, which sings all of your favorite classics with a great new twist.  Performance includes a lavish home-cooked meal from the Amish Door Restaurant.
