2. DOVER BALLROOM BENEFIT SHOW AT THE AURICLE
Where/When: The Auricle, 601 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton; 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Friday
Why Go: There's a little music venue in Dover, OH, called the Dover Ballroom that needs some new sound equipment, so a bunch of friends got together and are throwing this benefit show at the Auricle in Canton. BRsq also will benefit. Watch some local bands (State Bird, Eddie and the Shadows, and Northwestern)

3. NORTH CANTON'S FIRST FARMERS MARKET
Where/When: Parking lot of Main Street Grille; 8 a.m.-noon Saturday
Why Go: Come on, this is a pretty big deal for North Canton! It's the first-ever farmers market in the city. Don't you want to be there to see what's happening?

4. GIANT EAGLE ON THE STRIP HOSTS KENT STATE GOLDEN FLASHES COACHES
Where/When: ; 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: Where else can you meet head football coach Darrell Hazell and head men’s basketball coach Rob Senderoff and get a hot dog, Coke and Kent State cookies for $1? All proceeds benefit Akron Children's Hospital.
