The Animals Are Coming - concert & art show - by A Chorus for a Cause & guests

A Chorus for a Cause will present a combined concert on September 29, 2012. “The Animals Are Coming” is the theme of the evening’s music. The chorus will be doing such numbers as “Creator Rhythm, Over the Rainbow,” and “White Horses.” Fun songs for the audience include “The Animal Cracker” selections, “A Place in the Choir,” and a sing-a-long. The Children’s & Youth Choirs will be singing their first 2012-2013 performance.  Harmony Ringers bellchoir will be ringing as well.

Pegasus Farm Therapeutic Equestrian Center is the beneficiary of the concert and will have an information table.

A Pet Memorial will be available for anyone wishing to post their pet’s picture. Simply bring a picture to post. Pictures may be picked up following the concert. Please put name and phone # on the back.

To be held at the Johnson Center of Malone University at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N in Canton, the concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $10. Tickets may be obtained from a member of ACFAC, from Pegasus Farm, or by calling (330) 453-3460.

Doors will open at 6:00 for an animal themed art exhibit. Come early and enjoy the free exhibit. Art work will be for sale.

Artists are invited to reserve a 6 foot space immediately at www.achorusforacause.org   and exhibit any medium of art work which includes an animal. This is a family event, so all displayed work is subject to approval. Artists must bring own equipment - easels, table, chair. Set up is 5:00 – 6:00. Display will be 6:00 – 7:30. The reserved space includes a concert ticket.
