"Souvenirs of Yesteryear"

Christmas decorating begins in November, so October is the final opportunity for viewing in full of this year's display of Hoover memorabalia from personal collections of Hoover retirees. Service anniversary awards, retirement gifts, numerous items bearing the Hoover logo and more are on display, enhancing the story of the Hoover legacy. 

Located on the Hoover family homestead, tours begin in a primitive 1840s building where docents provide family background information. Showing of the evolution of cleaning devices is experienced here with manual sweepers from the late 1800s which includes interactives visitors always enjoy!

Hoover history as a leader in floor care begins with the first 1908 Hoover vacuum in the family's Victorian home. Ladies vintage fashions, elegant Victorian decor and family furnishings throughout. Tours are conducted hourly, 1-4 p.m. Weds- Sat. A.M. reservations available for groups of eight or more Mon-Fri.
